The right way, and the wrong way

Thereโ€™s a right way to handle the Bureau of Automotive Repair, and thereโ€™s a wrong way.

Consider this the wrong way:

What would have been the best way to handle this? Let the Bureau look around all they want. Why? Because Iโ€™m sure that warrant or subpoena granting access to the shop had more holes in it than a rusted out quarter panel โ€“ you donโ€™t fight the Bureau or the Police for that matter โ€“ youโ€™ll never win the street law battle.

The real battle is in court โ€“ probable cause โ€“ do they have an ironclad warrant? Whereโ€™s their evidence? Whoโ€™s the judge that signed off on it?

Suppress any evidence obtained โ€“ of course the constitution protects private property, effects, including business records, etc.ย  You have rights โ€“ enforce them through the legal process… not with a baseball bat.
