We’ve developed a tool to help facilities provide extensive mitigation in the event of an Administrative Hearing.
Here is a document we suggest a facility has all technicians fill out on their first day of employment and keep on file.
What this document shows is the lengths the facility went to ensure proper inspections are performed, resources were provided, and that if a technician has a question, to consult the resources or direct the vehicle to a state referee facility.
We are still working on creating a defense for facility owners against technicians. This is likely a defense or appeal that needs to be taken on appeal to a much higher court, however, we will continue to help facilities as much as possible – starting with this document.
