One query that we get very often is about “stop the STAR program”. It is not surprising that many STAR station owners are unhappy about it and want to stop the STAR program.
Being a SMOG technician in California is not the easiest job in the world. There are so many things that you have to do, and so many rules and regulations, that it is easy to overlook something, quite unintentionally of course.
Many SMOG techs and station owners – probably the large majority – are reluctant to get into a fight. We might be out driving somewhere, and someone insults or threatens us, but we turn the other cheek.
